Ask.com brings its Q&A service to the iPhone users

Ask.com has recently updated its iPhone app to include questions and answers. Available as a free download, the updated application brings a combination of search and real people — like Ask.com’s Q&A beta site, Ask for iPhone answers questions using either search technology or insight from other users.

Even better, you don’t have to type a question – using some power licensed from Nuance, you can simply say it and let the voice recognition technology do its magic.

Once a question is posted, Ask.com will deliver it to the user who is qualified to answer based on expertise and knowledge area; and once your question is answered, it [answer] will be pushed to your phone (using push notifications).

Finally, Ask.com also promised to include location to the mix by the end of the year, allowing users to ask and answer questions relative to their immediate surroundings. Nice!
