Buddha is a free and revolutionary App to help expand your social network and find new connections based on your personal likes, interests, and location.

Buddha accomplishes one simple task that no other social media App can - it allows you to cut through hours of small talk and mindless searching as you discover those in close proximity who share the same tastes and interests as you. With Buddha, you can easily find these likeminded individuals and receive alerts whenever they're nearby.

Because privacy remains central to Buddha's core design, you can be as visible or invisible as you want while searching for new connections to add to your expanding social network. However, we hope that you use these features to step out of your traditional comfort zone and explore the exciting world around you. Buddha can tell you in seconds what you would discover only by chance or after hours of small talk with perfect strangers.

Buddha Features Include:
• Ability to find new friends based on likes or location
• Proximity alerts whenever a potential connection is nearby
• Negativity alerts to help you avoid nearby and unwanted connections
• Seamless syncing with Facebook - no need to create a Buddha profile
• Grouping for easier contact management
• Free messaging features for friends already in your network
• Free "tapping" for engaging with those outside of your network
• GPS tracking for all friends and potential friends
• Complete control over all privacy settings

This application is using Location Background Mode (can be disabled in Settings -> General Settings -> Enable the updates).
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
