Keynote DeviceAnywhere is teaming-up with Sprint to make it easy for developer members of the “Sprint Gets Rugged” program to port their iDEN apps to Sprint’s rugged line of CDMA handsets.

Using the remote testing resource, mobile app testers can access real handsets on Sprint’s CDMA network via the Internet. As a result, developers can target the ruggedized device market without having to physically acquire the handsets, decreasing the overall cost of development and speeding up their time-to-market. Among the phones that will be accessible this way are the Motorola XPRT, Sanyo Taho, and Kyocera’s Duramax Pro 820, DuraCore, and DuraPlus.
