Most people today use computers to get their things done. And most of them use it for continuous stretches of time that causes tension for the body. The US Department of Labor, Occupational Health and Safety Administration recommends short rest breaks to prevent health issues arising out of prolonged periods of activity. MicroBreak allows you to setup repetitive alarms anywhere from 10 minutes to 60 minutes depending on your work pattern to remind you to take a break. MicroBreak plays gentle and calming sounds for a short duration and also vibrates the device if vibration is available on the device. The main user interface shows a simple and elegant clock with date and time that can be used as a desk side clock for keeping track of time.
In order to continue receiving the periodic alarms, just run the MicroBreak application in the foreground. When MicroBreak reminds you to take the break, simply change your posture, stretch your body or stand and walk a bit or do anything else before you return to your work.
