Remember The Milk keeps updating its mobile offering. Their latest product update includes their Android client which has been blessed with push syncing capability. No longer will you have to wait for periodic updates to your tasks from the web to your mobile device – as soon as task is changed or added, it will be synced back to your smartphone(s).
There’s a catch, however. Your device needs to run the latest version of Android – 2.2 Froyo, which as we all know is still not as widely available as it should be. If that’s on place, simply update to the latest version of RTM from the Android Market and enable the feature in the “Settings” screen by selecting “Sync Schedule.” Push Sync is now the default setting, and it’s the one that is recommended by the RTM folks.
In addition to push syncing, the new version of Remember The Milk for Android also comes with localization updates for Greek, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish and Swedish. Moreover, some of the known bugs have been fixed and some small features added, including the ability to sort order for the Inbox and take advantage of auto-correction on the note-editing screen.
