If you enjoy a healthy dose of laughter during your day, The Onion is one website you’ve probably got stuffed in your bookmarks. The publication hits us with daily satirical news, covering everything from politics to the sports scene. I have to admit, I do pop open their website from time to time, and it’s always worth a laugh or two, or three.
For those packing an Android-powered device, it looks like it’ll be easier to get your laugh on. The Onion has just released the Onion News Network app in the Android Market… and yes, it’s free. So far the ratings of the app are solid, heck, how could it not be? Just pop open the app and read the hilarious articles, check out the zany infographics, and in general just have a good time. To get started with this new (and very hilarious) app, pop open the Android Market or use the QR code below. And, for more, you may want to follow The Onion on twitter (@TheOnion). Just sayin’.
Out of curiosity, I did some quick searches via iTunes and BlackBerry App World for any ‘The Onion’ goodness. While my BlackBerry searches came up empty-handed, for those of you packing an iPhone you can pick up one of two apps for free. I’ve included the download links below for your pleasure.
