Liquid Air Lab and Treedia Labs announced their plans to deliver a full spectrum of podcast programming to mobile phone users around the world by integrating Treedia’s Podcast.com distribution services and Liquid Air Lab’s spodtronic mobile application.
Touted as the “first worldwide radio and podcast content hub,” spodtronic allows its users to receive live radio programming and podcasts to their phones over-the air. On the other hand, Podcast.com is one of the leading destinations for podcast consumers to “discover, share and enjoy podcasts across a wide variety of devices and applications.”
Usually, to download podcasts I use the dedicated application on my Nokia smartphone. Still, I can see this (using spodtronic for podcast listening) working for feature phone users. What do you think?
